Target Audience:

Pharmacists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals who manage critically ill patients. Note only pharmacists, nurses, and nurse practitioners will receive CE credits.

Program Description:

Critical care practice & related pharmacotherapy encompasses a wide variety of disease states. New developments challenge the practitioner to stay abreast of emerging therapies & novel treatment strategies. This conference will focus on clinical controversies or novel therapies across the gamut of critical care medicine. The keynote session, Deploying AI for Critical Care: Learning to Make a Difference, will focus on AI in critical care. Our clinical topics will highlight timely adult topics across multiple intensive care units, including medical, cardiac, surgical/trauma, as well as the emergency department.

Registration fee includes continental breakfast, boxed lunch, parking validation, and up to 6.0 contact hours (0.6 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credits. Nurses can earn up to 6.0 contact hours of continuing nursing education credits for the live program. Advanced practice nurses may count a total of 5.0 contact hours for the pharmacotherapeutic educational requirement. All courses will be available for pharmacists as future homestudies and participants can earn up to a total of 6 credit hours (live + homestudy) for pharmacist CE. You will receive a free access code for each session. If you received CE for the live program, you cannot receive CE credit for the same sessions as a homestudy. At this time, homestudies will only be available for pharmacists. Handouts will be provided electronically for attendees to download and print before the conference.
