Learning Objectives:
- Identify potential thrombotic and bleeding complications post-transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and discuss emerging evidence for antithrombotic regimens post-TAVR
- Explain thrombosis risk associated with WATCHMAN implantation and describe antithrombotic regimens reported in the literature to reduce this risk
- Describe bleeding and thrombotic complications with the HeartMate 3 (HM3) left ventricular assist device (LVAD) and examine current literature on oral antithrombotic regimens for patients with a HM3 LVAD
